We are a friendly and supportive group who meet up every week to enjoy the wonderful practice of creative writing. The group is led by myself, Lucy Houbart. I set a writing prompt ahead of each session, sometimes a word or picture that acts as a starting point. After a short chat we settle down to silent writing for around 40 minutes. Then we share what we have written. Our writing includes poetry, short stories and memories from our lives. Often we work on it further at home and bring it to a later session.
A warm welcome awaits you, so we encourage you to come and be creative through the simple act of putting pen to paper! Tea, coffee and biscuits are also available.
